 | We welcome you to the Trinity School website and heartily invite you to come see the School in person. Please call us or drop by. We would love to show you around the campus and introduce you to some of our wonderful teachers and students. If you have any trouble using the website, please email us or give us a call: 432-697-3281, extension 201. We are happy to answer any question you may have. We’re proud of our school, and we like to talk about it!
Chances are, you are a parent looking for the best educational opportunity you can find for your children, or perhaps you are a motivated student looking for a great experience that will prepare you, not only for great college choices, but for life and a future of public usefulness. Either way, we hope you’ll give Trinity School a serious look. We invite you to experience the difference.
Trinity is a mission-driven, board-run institution and accredited by the prestigious Independent Schools Association of the Southwest (www.isasw.org). The Mission of Trinity School is to be a college preparatory community that provides a nurturing environment to enrich the mind, strengthen the body, enliven the soul, and inspire servant leadership. Our Mission is derived from the Trinity Values of Character, Faith, Excellence, Learning, Community, Respect, Participation, Leadership, and Service. The Trustees have established desired outcomes for every graduate of the School, which we call the Seven Core Competencies. The Faculty & Staff are working hard to ensure that our seniors (1) engage spiritually, (2) embody character, (3) practice scholarship, (4) work collaboratively, (5) take ownership, (6) communicate effectively, and (7) are well physically, mentally, and emotionally.
It is clear in our Mission Statement, Values, and Core Competencies that the first purpose of Trinity School is to educate the whole person and not just one or two parts of a person. When we are at our best on any given day, Trinity School is far more than a school; we are an invigorating and demanding experience engaging many aspects of human nature – the spiritual, the intellectual, the physical, the moral, the emotional, and the aesthetic. One reason Trinity has been an outstanding academic school is that we are actually shooting higher than academic excellence: We are shooting for character, virtue, and wisdom. As C.S. Lewis famously put it: “Aim for Heaven and you get earth thrown in; aim for earth and you get neither.”
Please spend some time on this website so you can see what we are up to at Trinity, and, by all means, make an appointment for a tour and additional information. We are a full-blooded college preparatory school and part of a grand scholastic tradition. Such an education develops persons who are strong and not weak – I mean leaders who can change the world for the better. That’s what we are all about. I hope you and I can meet soon and talk further about what Trinity School has to offer students from all over West Texas.
