 | Our Mission - Continuing the Journey
Trinity focuses on the attributes and personal success of each member of our student body; we take all aspects of a student’s Trinity career into consideration while helping them consider colleges and life after Trinity. The College Counseling Office is dedicated to assisting Trinity students in finding “best fit” colleges and universities that will nurture their abilities, strengths, and career aspirations and allow them to realize their undiscovered talents. |
Our Role
The Director of College Counseling serves as a knowledgeable resource for students and parents by providing tools, tips, and information about standardized testing, SAT prep, and entrance exams; summer programs; scholarship opportunities; financial aid; and more. Junior and Senior College Nights and various guest speaker events ensure that both parents and students are informed and prepared as they progress through the various stages of the college process.
The College Counseling Office has an open-door policy, encouraging students to stop by for simple conversation or to ask specific questions in relation to the college search. Trinity’s Director of College Counseling, Kelly Jorgensen, regularly attends professional meetings and workshops, as well as local, state and national conferences to learn important information about college admission trends and procedures. Trinity is a member of the National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC) and the Texas Association for College Admission Counseling (TACAC). |
