Vina Rahlfs

At the age of almost 101, Vina Rahlfs passed away on May 16. Mrs. Rahlfs served the Trinity community for decades, personifying energy and excellence in the classroom. In the words of Peggy Simmons, Head of School Emerita of Trinity School, we recognize " .....the important role Vina Rahlfs played for over forty years in the founding, growth, and development of Trinity School. She taught students, guided parents, educated teachers, trained acolytes, nurtured Heads, and was a constant source of inspiration. In essence, she was the heart and soul of our school."

There will be a memorial service at her church in Alabama this weekend, and very possibly a memorial service in Midland in six to eight weeks. Details will be made available as soon as they are known.
