*Over $6 million in Scholarships Awarded to Class of 2021
*As of May 21, 2021, the Class of 2021 received over $6 million in scholarship awards.
Trinity School is proud to announce that the Class of 2021 has already received over $3 million in scholarship awards and 194 acceptances at 91 universities and colleges around the country. With notifications of acceptances and awards continuing, Trinity School’s graduating class of 42 students is expected to receive upward of $5 million dollars in scholarship awards.
As a college preparatory school, Trinity seeks to not only provide students with the knowledge and skills to be successful in college and beyond. The School also places significant emphasis on helping students find a post-secondary institution that best fits their goals and interests.
Dr. Trey Wetendorf, Director of College Advising, says, “I think what separates Trinity School compared to other schools in the area of college acceptances is how diverse our admittances are and our emphasis on helping students find the ‘right fit’ college.”
This year, college admittance rates around the nation have been extremely low, but that hasn’t seemed to affect Trinity’s graduates.
“In a year that has been more competitive than ever, I am so proud of our students and so happy for our community,” Wetendorf says.
Head of School Shelby Hammer agrees. “Our students have risen above the challenges of 2020 and learning in a pandemic, and we are so incredibly proud of their accomplishments. The Class of 2021 has shown tremendous dedication and they deserve to be celebrated. I know that these students would be very quick to tell you, however, that they achieved their success through the support of their family, classmates, and teachers. Trinity is a community, and when graduation comes in May, our students know they will have the entire community cheering them on.”
