"Can It" for Charity
Trinity School students have joined forces with Keep Midland Beautiful on a project designed to: • protect the environment by minimizing the number of aluminum cans that end up in Midland’s landfill, • create a simple revenue stream to benefit LOCAL charities, including Casa de Amigos, Breaking Bread Soup Kitchen, and the Field’s Edge.
Bring your bags of cans to campus on Wed., Nov. 29, and Wed., Jan. 24, and leave them outside of your child’s classroom. HELP TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE. IT’S A BIGG Idea (Big Idea for the Greater Good). -

H (Commons) - First floor - 100Program for IS and US parents, but all interested parents are welcome.Speakers will include Dr. Miguel Wolbert, District Attorney Laura Nodolf, and Elizabeth Adamson. Dr. Wolbert will speak about the health implications of tobacco and THC on the teenage brain. Laura Nodolf will speak on the legal implications of possession. Elizabeth Adamson will provide parents with the history and link to large tobacco companies. She will also provide tools to help increase parent awareness and promote vigilance. Nurse Kennedy will also be available for questions. The evening will consist of an educational presentation, provide resources, and speakers will be available for questions about vaping and e-cigarettes.Contact: Elizabeth Adamson -
