Thank you to all who participated in Summer Charge Up!
At this time,
Trinity School has decided to discontinue its summer programming. Therefore, all athletic camps and the next three weeks of Summer Charge Up are canceled. Trinity is fortunate that all our staff and students remain healthy, and we have no cases of coronavirus. Even in the absence of a diagnosed case, there are several reasons for this decision:
- We are listening to government officials and healthcare leaders. While we are not required to stop our programs, we are heeding their calls for caution and cooperation while our community strives to control the spread of COVID-19.
- The nature of our summer programming, while beneficial and fun, differs from the essential nature of school-year learning. A key factor in our decision was the optional, free nature of Summer Charge Up and summer athletic camps.
- Our focus is on re-opening our campus to all students and employees in August. We want to do our part so that everyone in our community stays healthy and practices social distancing so that we are ready to go on August 19 for the first day of school and for Upper School athletics, beginning on August 3.
