BIGG Service Projects

BIGG Projects at Trinity School

Trinity School has always had a commitment to service and philanthropy as a cornerstone of our mission. In 2014, the Lower and Middle Schools adopted the Big Ideas for the Greater Good initiative. The idea behind this was to challenge each grade to partner with a local nonprofit to serve and give back in a BIGG way.

Amy Bell Charities

In 2014, Amy Bell '99, passed away unexpectedly. She touched lives across the world and loved horses, her family, and the Lord. A dedicated philanthropist, during her short life, she began very private, but significant work dedicated to making life better for those less fortunate. Amy's family committed to honoring her work by supporting her programs and projects and sharing her "pay it forward" spirit throughout the world. Upon her passing, Amy was inducted into the inaugural class of the Trinity School Hall of Honor.

Recently, her parents, Ellen and Larry Bell, gave a gift to endow the Amy Bell Charities Fund at Trinity School. This lasting legacy will support the BIGG projects of our Lower and Middle School students indefinitely. Because of the servant leadership values that were instilled in Amy during her time at Trinity School, the foundations of this endowment truly began many years ago.

Stay tuned for more information on BIGG projects throughout the school year. We cannot wait to see the impact these projects have on our community and the world.
