Stuart Evans Beal '81

Stuart Evans Beal was born in Huntington Beach, California, to Nancy and Barry Beal and moved to Midland in 1966.
He and his three siblings, B.J., Elizabeth, and Stephen, were all Trinity lifers, which at that time through the 9th grade. Stuart attended the Kent School in Kent, Connecticut, graduating in 1985. Stuart graduated from the University of Tulsa in 1990, where he met his wife, Kate. He worked for Vesta Energy Company in Tulsa before moving back to Midland and joining BTA Oil Producers where he has worked for the last 23 years. Stuart and Kate have three boys, all Trinity lifers: Alex, a graduate of University of Oklahoma, Philip, a current student at Ole Miss, and Thomas, a senior at Trinity School. For more than 20 years, Stuart has been very involved at First Presbyterian Church serving as a youth bible study leader and youth Sunday school teacher. He has also been very involved with High Sky Children’s Ranch, chairing the board, serving as a member of the board of governors and was a recipient of the Rainbow award. Stuart Co-chaired the area development committee for the City of Midland Vision 2020. He served as Chairman of the Memorial Forum and is a member of the Board of Trustees for Midland Memorial Hospital. Stuart and his wife Kate, have been very involved in various leadership roles for Trinity School. He also annually sponsors the Trinity Alumni’s Charger Classic Golf Tournament. Stuart chaired the Board of Trustees, and served as a member of the Trinity Endowment Corporation. Most recently, Stuart and Kate co-chaired the Campaign for Trinity, the most successful capital campaign in the history of the school.
