What’s Happening in Kindergarten!

Kindergarten is embracing the sights, sounds, and changes of fall! This month, we are exploring apples, scarecrows, and the changing of the seasons across all areas of our curriculum. Our learning is hands-on, creative, and full of opportunities to wonder, explore, and make connections.

We are learning about Johnny Appleseed, comparing fiction and nonfiction books, and discovering how authors and illustrators share information and tell stories. We are also using our five senses to investigate apples through apple taste testing, making observations, describing what we notice, and learning new vocabulary along the way. Our fall themes are also making their way into our reading, writing, math, science, and classroom activities!

We are excited for what’s ahead as we continue learning and growing together. Mark your calendars for October 29th at 9:00 a.m. in the Commons for our Saints of God Performance! We can’t wait to share this special celebration with our families.
