Sophie Grace Campbell

Looking back at your high school years, which academic subject or course had the most impact on you and why?
History, I’ve always enjoyed discussing different topics with my peers and doing my own research into different parts of our history. 

What extracurricular activities or clubs were you involved in, and how did they shape your high school experience?
I’ve done basketball since 8th grade and it became really important to me. 

Can you describe a moment when you felt particularly proud of yourself?
When I qualified for nationals in speech and debate was a huge milestone that I am so proud of reaching.  
 
Have you had any mentors or teachers who made a significant impact on you?
My brother has had a big impact on my life and I am so thankful for him and everything he has done for me. 
 
What aspects of Trinity's culture or community did you find most supportive or challenging?
Having the opportunity to be in so many different extracurricular activities allows me to be involved with so many people and make so many more connections. 
 
What advice would you give to incoming freshmen based on your experiences?
Be involved with as many things that interest you, you might find something you would have never thought you would enjoy and make friends that you never would have met. 
 
Can you share a funny or unexpected moment that stands out in your mind?
When I got to watch my older brother deliver his senior chapel talk in a toga. 

What is one of your favorite memories from your time at Trinity?
I loved going on the band trip every year and getting to make so many memories that I will hold on to forever from that experience. 

What are you looking forward to the most for your senior year?
All the senior traditions, specifically having a 1st grade buddy because when I was in 1st grade I remember my senior buddy and it was a formative memory for me. 

What are your plans after you graduate?
I plan to go to college and then go to law school to become a lawyer.
