Lincoln Lewis

I struggled my whole life with any math class, but every math teacher I have ever had has given me extra help and ensured that I understand the material. Math has grown on me and is now my favorite subject and the subject I enjoy most.

I am one of the four captains of the Trinity football team this year, and I have been playing Trinity football since 7th grade. Football has been one of the most influential things in my life. It has taught me how to work with a team and keep fighting even when it's hard, and most importantly, it brought me closer to my teammates and friends who play with me. I am so thankful for all of the coaches, Coach Midkiff, Coach Laf, and Coach Koch, for pushing me to my limits and teaching me important life lessons and the sport of football.

 

I felt proud of myself when I achieved high honor roll for the first time with the help of Mrs. Duenas and all my high school teachers. I am also so thankful to my parents for supporting me while trying to achieve my goal of making the high honor roll. They are my most significant role models, and I am so thankful for how hard they have worked for my family and me. 

 

Every single teacher I have ever had at Trinity, from pre-k to 12th grade, has significantly impacted my life. Growing up with a learning difference, I had to receive extra help from my teachers, especially in high school. Mrs. Deunas was my tutor for my first two years of high school, and her mentorship and the way she truly cared about my education caused me to thrive in school and enjoy the learning experience. I am so thankful that I had the opportunity to attend Trinity School and be taught by amazing people for my entire life.
