Senior Spotlight

Alice LaFarelle

What extracurricular activities or clubs were you involved in, and how did they shape your high school experience?
I’ve been involved with volleyball, basketball, and baseball since freshman year. I’ve really loved having these experiences and getting to know people from all different grades. My sports teams have been such a fun part of my high school experience, I’m so grateful I get to play with all my teammates.

What tradition or event at Trinity will you miss the most?
One of my favorite events at Trinity is being at chapel every day. It gives me a place to relax and reset my mind for the rest of the day. It is one of the most peaceful places on campus, and I’ll always cherish the memories I’ve made there.

What advice would you give to incoming freshmen based on your experiences?
I would tell freshmen to be involved with as many activities as possible. It helps to build friendships and communities. Some of my favorite memories have come from things I didn't even think I would be involved in. I would also say to use T-Block to build connections with your teachers and classmates.

What is one of your favorite memories from your time at Trinity?
My favorite memories from Trinity are volleyball games. I love messing around with my friends before the games and then getting to compete with them on the court. I love all the student support we get—it really helps build the excitement. Win or lose, I always have fun and the sport has taught me so much and helped me grow throughout high school.

What are you looking forward to the most for your senior year?
I am most looking forward to Valentine's Day and dorm wars my senior year.
