The presentations that were cancelled due to the snow day will now take place Monday, February 14.
As part of our commitment to educating the whole child, Trinity School is partnering with the Life Center of Midland to share age-appropriate information with students to promote their health, safety, and wellness. Presenters from The Life Center will be on campus the week of February 1st-3rd to visit with Middle School students and February 8th and 10th to visit with Upper School Students. Click "Read More" below to view the schedule and parent materials.
The Life Center of Midland will present age-appropriate education to students in grades 5-12. The programming includes information on human sexual development and the best choices regarding personal wellness. The program emphasizes students’ values as individuals and their ability to set goals and establish a direction in their lives. This program is character-based and teaches healthy decision-making skills for the future.
A strong partnership between home and school makes these lessons more effective. Information about the program, including grade-level specific topics, is available under the Resource Tab in the parent section of the Trinity online portal and in the links below. The schedule of student presentations, opt-out forms, and descriptions of each presentation are also available under the Wellness section of the Resource Tab.
All students will attend the presentation unless their teacher receives the Parent Consent form indicating that they DO NOT want their child to participate. Students not participating may read or study in the middle school conference room during the presentation.
Please feel free to reach out with any questions. For more information about the content of the programming, please contact The Life Center’s Prevention Education Director at 432.683.6072.
