What extracurricular activities or clubs were you involved in, and how did they shape your high school experience?
Each of my high school years, I have played volleyball, basketball, and tennis! I think that playing sports has allowed me to make so many friendships with a lot of different people! Also, I think that by going through hard things together (like sweet 24’s – volleyball will know) really makes you have a bond with people! I think that sports also acts as a stress reliever, no matter how busy I get in season, I can always find comfort in playing sports. I really recommend everyone to at least try out some sport. You never know who you will meet or what you will learn!

What advice would you give to incoming freshmen based on your experiences?
There is so much more to high school than your grades! Of course, lock in when you need to, but I think that building relationships is just as important as grades! You are going to be stuck with these people for the next 4 years, so you might as well make friendships! I think I really adapted this thought process and am able to maintain my grades without making them my whole life – you want to be able to look back and remember the goofy memories you made in high school.

What is one of your favorite memories from your time at Trinity?
I think one of my favorite memories at Trinity is going on the Europe trip during my sophomore year. It was super fun to explore Europe while being able to bond with my classmates!

What are you looking forward to the most for your senior year?
I am looking forward to the Greece trip and Life 101!
