Looking back at your high school years, which academic subject or course had the most impact on you and why?

Algebra II had the most impact on me. Mrs. Wheeler trusted in me to be able to take geometry and algebra II at the same time. She was always extremely supportive and helped me learn. I will never forget the impact she made on me.

Can you describe a moment when you felt particularly proud of yourself?

I was particularly proud of myself sophomore year when I was able to improve my grades from Freshman year greatly.

What advice would you give to incoming freshmen based on your experiences?

Don’t be afraid to ask for help. The teachers are always willing to help when you are willing to ask.

What are your plans after you graduate?

I am going to college and majoring in petroleum engineering. I will also continue to participate in team roping.
