Looking back at your high school years, which academic subject or course had the most impact on you and why?
Overall, I think my science classes had the most impact on me. I have always loved science and have been able to double up my science classes every year I have been at Trinity, allowing me to really dive into my interests. I love all of the science teachers and appreciate the way they make their classes fun and engaging. My favorite science class I have taken is Anatomy and Physiology, where we were able to learn so much and participate in several labs and dissections.
What extracurricular activities or clubs were you involved in, and how did they shape your high school experience?
I have danced my entire life, but when I came to Trinity my sophomore year, I decided to join cheer. Cheer had a huge impact on my high school experience by allowing me to make new friends, grow as a leader, and make connections with people in the Trinity community of all ages. This year I had the opportunity to be co-captain with my best friend, Emma, and it was so fun and extremely rewarding to watch our team grow and become closer.
What tradition or event at Trinity will you miss the most?
I will definitely miss my first-grade buddies. I love all of the activities we do and getting to see them randomly around school.
What are your plans after you graduate?
After I graduate, I plan to attend college to either major in Public Health or Health Sciences on a pre-optometry track.
