What extracurricular activities or clubs were you involved in, and how did they shape your high school experience?
I’ve participated in hockey, played in band, created the Music Performance Club, and performed with Davy K (a rock band). They have shaped my high school experience by teaching me many valuable skills and lessons like dedication, hard work, leadership, communication, collaboration, and teamwork (as well as being enjoyable things to do, for the most part, during all the times they don’t cause me extreme stress).

What advice would you give to incoming freshmen based on your experiences?
GO TO T-BLOCK! Seriously, I’ve gone to t-block almost every day all of high school. I ask my teachers for help to understand things better and ask tons of dumb questions, so don’t be afraid to go to t-block and ask.

What is one of your favorite memories from your time at Trinity?
A few of my favorite memories are playing Jig 2 upside down on drumline, going on the band trip to Branson, Missouri, and destroying the robotics competition in 5th grade with the Amazing Trinity Dragons.

What are you looking forward to the most for your senior year?
I’m looking forward to all the fun senior traditions like first grade buddies and Valentine’s Day, and of course, graduating.

How do you think Trinity has prepared you for life after high school?
I think Trinity has prepared me for life after high school primarily by providing an extremely solid education that has laid the framework for success in college. Secondly, small class sizes and t-block have allowed me to get to know my teachers, which is useful for developing relationships with professors in college. Lastly, Trinity has encouraged participation in activities, and I have done so through band, drumline, and clubs; this encouragement has taught me how to get involved in groups with others, which I plan to do throughout college.

What are your plans after you graduate?
Go to college.
