Second grade at Trinity School is such a special year of growth and transformation. It is a year when teachers have the privilege of watching young learners blossom into more confident, capable, and independent students. They become readers who read for comprehension, mathematicians who confidently tackle challenging problems, and writers who express themselves with imagination and purpose.

In the fall, our second graders enjoy many memorable projects and special experiences. One of the highlights is our annual Storybook Pumpkin Showcase, where students display their creatively decorated pumpkins for the entire Lower School to enjoy. This year, we were amazed by the creativity, originality, and unique ideas our students brought to life!

Next, we look forward to Christmas Around the World. For this project, each student will be assigned a country to research and will explore the unique traditions and celebrations associated with the holiday season in that part of the world. 

Each year, we are fortunate to welcome first graders through our classroom doors on the first day of school and watch them leave as confident, capable third graders at the end of the year. What a privilege it is to witness such tremendous growth! We feel incredibly blessed to play a part in each child's journey at Trinity School. Here, students grow not only in what they know, but also in who they are.
