    Lower School teachers report to the Head of Lower School. The Lower School Enrichment Teacher is expected to perform other duties as assigned beyond those responsibilities stated below and is expected to support the school and its leadership in pursuit of the school mission and values.

    Responsibilities 
    Plan and provide instruction that support the advancement of learners in thinking, problem solving, and creativity. 
    • Develop and utilize both formative and summative assessments to monitor student progress.
    • Demonstrate knowledge of and ability to employ best instructional practices for a wide spectrum of learners, particularly those who demonstrate more advanced thinking.
    • Provide enrichment to meet the needs of students with documented learning differences and those who may be academically or intellectually advanced.
    • Work one-on-one and in small groups with students in math in order to continue to advance their knowledge and proficiency in this content area.
    • Develop and evaluate grade level curriculum using the school’s curriculum mapping platform.
    • Maintain documentation of student academic progress and behavior.
    • Initiate and maintain open channels of communication with parents.
    • Assist in identifying children who may need short- or long-term interventions.
    • Administer standardized tests and benchmark assessments when appropriate.
    • Implement best practices for positive classroom management.
    • Support children in building executive functioning and social-emotional skills to enhance learning.
    • When needed, work closely with and support instructional aides.
    • Attend meetings as needed with administrators, teachers, advisors, and parents.

  • Part-Time Children's Enrichment Center Staff

    Daycare Staff -Children’s Enrichment Center
    Part-time, Nonexempt
    Reports to: Children’s Enrichment Center Director

    Reporting to the Children’s Enrichment Center Director, the Daycare Staff Member is expected to provide a safe, enriching, and nurturing environment for students. This position will work with diverse age children (ranging from 8 weeks old to 10 years old).
     
    To ensure success in the pursuit of our mission, the Daycare Staff Member should display a gentle and nurturing personality and possess high energy and the ability to handle the demands of children with different personalities and needs.

    Responsibilities
    • Provide consistent and nurturing care.
    • Feed food/snacks as age appropriate.

    • Supervise children as they play with age-appropriate toys.
    • Display a patient and calm personality coupled with a loving approach to every child.
    • Contribute positively to the behavior and social interaction of the children.
    • Work closely with other employees to ensure guidelines are adhered to.
    • Become and remain CPR and first aid certified.
    • Implement school safety and security standards for students, staff, and visitors.

    Required Qualifications
    • High School diploma or equivalent.

    • Develop and utilize both formative and summative assessments to monitor student progress. 
    • Demonstrate knowledge of and ability to employ best instructional practices for a wide spectrum of learners. 
    • Provide accommodations and enrichment to meet the needs of students with documented learning differences and those who may be academically or intellectually advanced. 
    • Work one-on-one and in small groups with students to reach students within their zone of proximal development.

    Substitute Nurse (RN) 
    Part-time, As Needed, Non-Exempt 
    Reports to: Associate Head of School 
    Job Description 2026-2027 

    The Substitute School Nurse provides temporary coverage in the absence of the full-time School Nurse and is responsible for addressing the immediate health needs of students and staff during the school day. The Substitute Nurse supports the school’s mission by maintaining a safe and healthy environment and following established school health policies, procedures, and protocols.

    Responsibilities 
    • Provides direct care to students and staff, including first aid, illness assessment, and emergency response, in accordance with school policies and nursing standards. 
    • Administers medications and treatments as prescribed and documented in student health plans. 
    • Follows established individualized healthcare plans (IHPs), emergency action plans (EAPs), and school health protocols. 
    • Maintains accurate and confidential health records for all student visits and care provided during the day. 
    • Communicates with parents/guardians as needed regarding student illness, injury, or care provided. 
    • Serves as a liaison between school personnel and families in the absence of the full-time nurse, ensuring continuity of care. 
    • Responds to on-campus medical emergencies and collaborates with school staff and emergency personnel when necessary. 
    • Supports faculty and staff with health-related concerns that arise during the school day. 
    • Ensures compliance with school policies related to health, safety, and infection control. Maintains a clean, organized, and properly stocked health office during the assignment. 
     
    Additional Duties 
    • Follows guidance and direction left by the full-time School Nurse or administration.
    • Adheres to all school policies, procedures, and confidentiality requirements (FERPA/HIPAA as applicable).
    • Performs other duties as assigned by school administration during the substitute assignment. 

    Required Qualifications 
    • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Texas. 
    • Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ASN or BSN). 
    • Current Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR/AED) certification. 
    • Ability to work independently and make sound clinical decisions. 
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 
    • Ability to collaborate effectively with students, faculty, staff, and parents. 
     
    Preferred Qualifications: 
    • Previous experience as a school nurse or in pediatric, emergency, or community health settings.

    Freedom to Innovate: Trinity School believes that teachers are professionals and therefore gives teachers the freedom to design their own unique approaches to guide students in learning curriculum. Teachers have a major voice in designing curriculum and do not have to “teach to the test,” as standardized tests are not used in the same ways they often are in public schools.
    Professional Development: Trinity School encourages and supports ongoing professional development of faculty and staff. The school will financially support appropriate conference and workshop attendance, as well as membership in professional organizations. Additionally, the school may provide financial support for study leading to advanced degrees or professional certification. The school also provides in-school professional development activities.

A full-time employee is eligible to receive 50% tuition remission on all children who attend Trinity, and a part-time employee is eligible to receive 25% tuition remission on all children who attend Trinity.
    Lunch is provided daily and prepared by our school chef.
