Art Moment: Gala Auction Quilt

A world of creativity, one quilt square at a time! Our fourth graders have been creating a special quilt for auction at the Gala later this year.

In art class, students explored the Seven Wonders of the World, famous landmarks, and vintage postcard imagery. Each student chose a landmark and illustrated the view through an airplane window, adding color with fabric markers and signing their quilt square.

Volunteer seamstress Margie Gordon and her family pieced the quilt together, and the Upper School Outreach Club helped Mrs. Gordon tie it all together. Our fourth graders recently stopped by to admire this labor of love—a special collaboration showcasing their creativity!
