Senior Spotlight

Madison Brooks

What extracurricular activities or clubs were you involved in, and how did they shape your high school experience?
I have played volleyball, Basketball, and Golf. I am also a member of Girl Scouts, Stuco, a Trinity Ambassador, and Yearbook. I have also obtained some leadership roles, which have taught me how to work with others to be a successful team.

Have you had any mentors or teachers who made a significant impact on you?
Mrs. Miller has shaped me in many ways. She has been such a positive influence in my life, keeping me close to God and being with me through hard times. Another teacher who has shaped me is Mrs. Duenas. She has been here for me in many ways and has become another mom to me. I’m blessed to have her in my life; she helps me stay on track and sets me up for success.

What aspects of Trinity's culture or community did you find most supportive or challenging?
I find the relationships so important. We are all very close and have become a family. We can support each other and be there for one another. I’m able to rely on my classmates and teachers.

What advice would you give to incoming freshmen based on your experiences?
Don't give up. High school is challenging and full of many different experiences. Just know that it is okay to struggle as long as you don’t give up. You’re here to learn and fail sometimes, but it’s about getting through it.

What are you looking forward to the most for your senior year?
I’m looking forward to commitment day! I’m excited to see where everyone will end up and what they will major in.

What are your plans after you graduate?
I plan to attend college and major in professional flight.
