What extracurricular activities or clubs were you involved in, and how did they shape your high school experience?

Cheer really shaped my high school experience. I joined freshman year and now I am captain of the squad. It gives you friends you never thought you would make and it's so amazing to support football and other sports. You become so involved in everything and your teammates become your family. I made so many memories and I’m so proud of how it went.

What advice would you give to incoming freshmen based on your experiences?

Be confident and do your work on time. I used to turn in all my assignments late which really does affect your grades even if you don’t realize it. Be confident in yourself because everything will be okay!

What are you looking forward to the most for your senior year?

I am most looking forward to Valentine's Day, when the seniors get to deliver gifts and ride on scooters. The tradition is so special and I’m so excited to participate.

What are your plans after you graduate?

I plan to go to Tarleton State University in the Fall to major in animal science with a concentration in Pre-veterinary medicine.
