In celebration of St. Francis of Assisi Day, Father Galletly and chaplains will be blessing family pets and stuffed animals on the patio area located on the south side of ALL SAINTS CHAPEL.
Sixth graders will leave Trinity on Thursday, October 4, and spend the afternoon at the Dallas Arboretum and then spend the evening and night at the Perot Museum of Nature and Science. Students will return to Trinity in the morning.

Each Grade One student will receive a book. The Project is sponsored by the Library Foundation, Wells Fargo, and the Midland Reporter Telegram. We will meet the Project representatives in the Commons after Chapel. They will read the story and distribute the books.
Yossi Ghinsberg, author, world traveler, philanthropist, and renowned storyteller will speak to US students about his famous survival in the Amazon jungle after being separated from his friends. His book, Jungle, has sold millions of copies and was recently made into a major motion picture staring Daniel Radcliffe.
Aimee St. Pierre, YMCA Sr. Health & Wellness Director, will be teaching students techniques for self regulating emotions, managing stress and mindfulness

PLEASE help the school make a difference in our community by scheduling a time to donate blood. Students who are 16-18 years old are able to donate with their parent's permission. Students who donate will receive 1 hour of community service. This is open to the entire Trinity community. Contact the nurse's office to sign up for a time to donate and help save a life!

Selected Lower School classes will judge the US Pumpkin Decorating contest. Pumpkins will be on display between the De Compeigne building and Simmons building.
Justin Hofman '17 is at the Merchant Marine Academy in New York. Part of his service school requirements is to give a presentation at his former school. If possible he would like 30 min to talk to 9th and 10th graders about his academy and a little bit about time management and the importance of developing those habits in high school.
